Join us for our opening gala concert featuring Sibelius’ stirring masterpiece that celebrates freedom, strength and heroism. David Heuser’s electrifying work is taken from the poem, “Music,” dedicated to Dmitry Shostakovich and written by Soviet poet, Anna Akhmatova. We end the evening with Tchaikovsky’s breathtaking and majestic Symphony No. 4!

SIBELIUS, Finlandia, Op. 26 (In honor of the 150th Anniversary of Sibelius’ Birth)
HEUSER, Something Miraculous Burns (New York State Premiere)
TCHAIKOVSKY, Symphony No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 36
