Dr. John Wrape
Dr. John Wrape is a retired educator from Watertown. He started his college career at the Crane School of Music, but then decided to pursue other academic interests, ending with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Supervision from the University of Miami. John has been a teacher, principal, BOCES staff developer, and adjunct professor at Potsdam. He retired from the position of Assistant Superintendent for Instruction in the Watertown City School District. His love of music continued, and he has recently joined the Watertown Advisory Board to support the Orchestra of Northern New York. He states that he “is proud to be involved with an organization that brings such high quality of music to northern New York. ONNY is a very significant asset to the cultural life of our area.”
